ERP Officer

The Project Support & Administration Directorate at the European Spallation Source ERIC in Lund, Sweden, invites applications for an ERP Officer.

Description of directorate/division

The Project support division is the department responsible for finance, project planning, risk management and external project and financial reporting. The division concists of two Groups:

The Finance Group includes accounting, cash flow, handling of currencies and currency exposure, external reporting (including annual and quarterly reports) and internal reporting

Planning group includes project management processes and skills, as well as supporting the different ESS projects with project management skills and resources.

In addition to the mentioned areas, Project Support division also manage the risk management process as well as total cost, total schedule and risk for the construction of the ESS facility and is also responsible for all external project and financial reporting

The department reports to the ESS Project Support and Administration Director.

Description of main responsibilities

• System Support for ESS ERP system (Agresso)
• Training (incl. training material) of users of ESS ERP system (Agresso)
• Drive and lead developments and enhancements of ESS ERP system (Agresso)
• Reconcile the ESS ERP system (Agresso) is set up to the project-reporting model
• Administer and develop ESS business intelligence support system (Qlikview) 

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of ERP system(s) and in particular knowledge of Agresso ERP system
• Understanding of administration functions such as HR, Procurement and Finance
• Knowledge of project management methods and project planning tools 
• Understanding and knowledge of databases and in particular knowledge of SQL 
• Knowledge of process development and improvement, quality assurance and training 
• Experience or working in an international environment is essential
• Excellent oral and written English skills are a prerequisite; knowledge of other European languages would be an advantage

Duration & Location

The position is permanent position with six months initial probationary period. Your work place will be situated in Lund, Sweden.
