Python Developer

We are seeking for Python Developers to join the development team with focus on news recommender systems that provide services to millions of users with a news feed in the browser.

Role & Responsibilities

• This role is on a small team developing a news service for millions of users.
• It is a rewarding and challenging position that requires both personal and technical skills.
• Participate in and contribute to all parts of the development cycle.
• Take part in design and architecture discussions.
• Adapt to and learn new technologies.

Ideal Candidate’s Profile

• A high degree of logical thinking, technical skill and attention to detail.
• Strong knowledge of Python coding language is necessary.
• Basic understanding of HTTP and HTML.
• Experience writing network server programs.
• Experience with Django, Linux, and Apache Solr is beneficial.
• Puppet and/or Docker experience is a plus, but not a requirement.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
