Web Developer

The Position
Magine Pro is looking for a Web Developer with a background in digital media and OTT platforms to help us develop the next generation TV and video experience for web and smartTV. We always strive to incorporate the latest components and tech for consuming streaming media on web, by using modern programming principles and a wide variety of development tools to create a robust and scalable product.

Where:

- Stockholm, Sweden* - Hybrid

Your role:

- Test, design, code and life-cycle-manage our web and smartTV products
- Develop our html template app used by our partners on the web
- Develop our web player SDK used for playing video streams
- Work together with other developers, product owners, testers and designers

Experience:

- At least a technical BSc.
- About 5 years of Java script and CSS/HTML
- From working with React / Preact
- Experience with client/server architectures using HTTP, REST and JSON.
- Building SDKs
- Test automation and CI
- Code reviews

The following knowledge will be seen as a bonus (if not, don't worry, if you're a fast learner you'll be fine):

- SmartTV app development

- Unit testing - Enzyme for React testing

- E2E testing - Cypress

- Chromecast

- Typescript

- GraphQL with Apollo

- Video Streaming Experience
