About this opportunity

Join a team working with the Next Generation Production system that will bring market leading 5G and cloud products from developers to Ericsson customers. We are currently redefining what the future will hold, and we plan to take leaps in the evolution of the setup being used today. We are setting-up a platform and framework with easy to use services, based on cloud technologies and a mix of both open source and internally developed products. You will contribute taking this to the next level, and enable us to show it's potential.

We are working in the area referred to as ‘Production system’. It is what enables taking code from thousands of developers, run thousands of builds and test jobs every day, keep track of every perspective of the software products we create and then deploy in customer environments. It will include the development environment as well as the CI/CD pipelines. This is an outstanding opportunity to be involved in the development of ‘Next generation production system’, where we strive to secure an evolution of this, and make it into a driven advantage for Ericsson.

Excellent! We are looking for two new colleagues at the start of their careers with a passion for software development to join one of our highly skilled Agile teams in Kista and develop solutions from idea to deployment.

You will do

• Develop Flow related product and services in Ericsson's CI/CD machinery
• Participate in all the phases of product development cycle – opportunity analysis, architecture, design, planning, implementation, test and deployment
• Propose and contribute to continuous improve our products and processes
• Have many opportunities to grow and take additional steps in your personal development

You will bring

Your personal qualities are important for us, and we believe that you are productive, creative and that you interact easily with other people. In addition, you can plan and drive your own work to reach common goals together with your team. As part of NextGen we are seeking you who wish to explore your career with us and have less than 3 years of relevant experience.

In addition, we believe you have:

• Strong analytical skills and capacity to quickly grasp new areas and technologies as we are in a fast-paced work environment
• BSc level (MSc preferred) in a technical field or the equivalent level of knowledge
• Maximum three years of relevant work experience
• Experience of software development in programming languages like Java, Python, Scala and graph oriented programming
• Experience in Cloud technologies, Kubernetes and Docker, along with Machine-Learning are considered as an extra merit.
