Job Description

Bosch eBike Systems is the market and technology leader in the eBike business – join us and contribute to more sustainable commuting and more fun on trails!

The role is twofolded, as an eBike Technician, you handle test bike maintenance, sample coordination, trouble shooting and buildup of new eBike-systems.

As a member of our experienced Test team you will test eBike component and systems, collect logs and create error reports. To be successful in this role you must be passionate about biking and bikes, communicative, supportive, organized, and curious about learning how an eBike System with different electronic components and software works, especially from an end-user perspective.

You will be part of creative and innovative activities for smart phone applications, connectivity modules and display units. The Lund teams cover a wide range of technology areas such as embedded real-time systems, communication via CAN, BLE and cellular, displays and user interfaces on RTOS platforms, algorithm development including machine learning and interaction with cloud backend and mobile Apps.

• Passionate about testing and trying out new things
• Relevant experience of testing embedded systems is a merit
• Experience of driving your own work while also participating in the team
• Experience of Android and iOS
• Experience of Confluence and JIRA is a merit
• Strong communication skills, both verbally and in written form, especially in English

Expectations

• Coordinating needs of new samples
• Ordering new hardware for testing & developing purposes
• Responsible for our bike pool
• Maintaining eBikes HW & SW (flashing eBike components etc.)
• Handling of special HW builds
• Supporting colleagues with their eBike system setups
• Keeping track of all samples
• Making sure old samples will be properly scrapped
• Handling & maintenance of smartphones
• Perform testing of eBike components and systems
