Google Cloud Devops Engineer

We are looking for a Google Cloud Devops Engineer joining one of our two Product teams; Before & After Action. You will play a key role in providing support with our infrastructure environment to other teams in operations as well as work with integrations with the banks, improve, build & maintain our integration product. Today we have two autonomous product teams (Before & After Action and During Action - working cross functionally & close together).

Product & Engineering work close together to unlock the best in both communities. Technical and product strategy decisions are aligned and we believe that our current structure will empower our autonomous teams, solve problems and drive growth. We work with agile methodologies and each product team consist of Engineers, UX-designers and Product Managers. You will report to our VP of Engineering.

Minna creates the infrastructure between Subscription Merchants (e.g Netflix, Spotify and Orange) and top-tier Financial Institutions (e.g Lloyds in UK, ING Romania, OP & Swedbank) to enable consumers/users to take action on their subscriptions, such as canceling, pausing or resubscribing. We are currently expanding with great traction and see great potential for growth, this was also shown during the pandemic - where we saw a big increase in the subscription management trend.

Your future

- Solving challenges across the full stack at Minna, from Scala applications to CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, networking and GCP resources
- Prototyping, deploying and maintaining solutions to common workflows within the engineering community
- Reviewing and automating tasks related to security and vulnerability management in a cloud native environment
- Supporting the product teams at Minna who use our platform to develop and deploy their products to millions of users

Who are you

- Experienced in building and operating distributed cloud environments using: Kubernetes, MongoDB, Terraform and Google Cloud Platform
- Thrives as a part of an inclusive agile team that highly values pragmatic problem solving and continuous improvements
- Enjoys learning and sharing knowledge with peers about new technologies and solutions in a growing and fast paced environment
- Experience from working in regulated environments like Financial Technology

It is a plus if you
- Experience from Terraform/Terragrunt

- Experience from ArgoCD and/or Atlantis
- Being motivated by helping others
- Having previous experience from working in on-call rotations and/or SRE roles
- An interest in defining and implementing best practices for development and deployment workflows
- As this would be a senior role within Minna, we would like to see around 3 or more years of relevant experience
