Our Digital Solutions team is growing and we’re now looking for a couple of experienced Edge Software Developers for our agile and inclusive crew. About the job

Our Edge Software Developers work closely together, and you complement each other with your specific talents. You develop SW solutions for everything from low-end sensors to high-end edge PCs. Advising and implementing best fit data communication solutions – intra-edge and edge-to-cloud, data processing and AI solutions, is also an essential part of the job. The team is responsible for developing target architecture for state-of-the-art edge solutions in alignment with the overall SW architecture and digital strategy.

This position is based in Hyllie, Malmö and you’re requested to be on site most of your working time, but remote work from home two days a week is currently an option.

Your character

We're looking for someone with extensive and relevant work experience – ideally from working with IoT projects. You have gained knowledge that you're ready to share and contribute to a successful Edge transformation in a global company. You're driven and enjoy communicating and dealing with many stakeholders throughout our business area. Navigating in an international arena, your English skills need to be of quality, both in written and verbal form.

Being a genuine problem solver who analyzes intricate details and solves complex obstacles, you also like to challenge yourself to learn new things. Of course, you’re also a team player who shares responsibility and collaborates to reach common goals.

Concrete skills that we are looking for in this role are:

• Experience of IoT products from edge to cloud
• Edge SW architecture
• Embedded Linux and RTOS based systems
• Relevant programming languages, such as C, C++, Java, Go
• IP based communication protocols on all levels
• Remote deployment and maintenance of Edge solutions
• Systems and processes for SW deployment of embedded systems
