UCG/Radio Support is a consulting company based in Kista in northern Stockholm. Regardless placement you will be employed by UCG, with Swedish salary and benifits.
The Consultant role
As a consultant you may be placed at different customers. UCG will assist with extra training when needed. As a consultant we need you to be flexible and to easily adapt to a new environment.
Education/training
Our roles requires a basic technical education, sometimes university level.
Experience
We require at least 3 years of relevant job experience for all roles, mostly more.
Required experience for this role:
• Excellent knowledge and experience in C, and firmware development
• In depth knowledge of C/C++
• Familiarity with low level programming in Assembly and C
• Good GIT and build system skills
• Good knowledge of x86 instruction set architecture
Working language: English
Good to have:
Additional knowledge about the following will be valuable
• Proven software engineering practices, e.g. the ability to strike the right balance between end user requirements, robust design reuse, and delivery schedule
• Good knowledge of and experience with compiler technology
• Excellent Python and C skills
• Good knowledge of low level SW stacks e.g. BIOS, UEFI, uboot, operating systems adoption layers and drivers
