Data Scientist

We are now looking for a Data Scientist, to join in on exploring machine learning for education! AI and ML are two hot topics within EdTech, and we are eager to enrich our products and user experience further, by pushing the boundaries. This role will be ideal for you who see the possibilities that technology has to offer, with a constant idea generation and the urge to get hands-on with PoCs. But also, with the ability to actually productize the, from testing, more prominent ideas.

Our challenge for you

• Work with a team of engineers, UX designers and product owners to explore, and ship. Pushing the boundaries of technology for education.
• Inspire and discuss ideas for how to bring new value to our customers with technology.
• Setup proof-of-concepts and make them adoptable in our products.
• Deploy ML workflows on AWS, and make it a part of the development process.

What you’ll bring to the team

• A strong background in data science and machine learning, both theory and practice.
• Relevant experience of data science in the educational space, such as knowledge tracing
• Comfortable explaining the ideas and assumptions behind ML concepts.
• Experience in implementing and maintaining ML workflows.
• Very good communication and collaboration skills.
• High self-drive and an unpretentious ”doer” mentality that is driven by challenging traditional ways and seeing new opportunities.

Flexible work location

We are located in Hammarby Sjöstad. Many of us still work partly from remote, and our plan is to continue to work flexibly in the future as well.
