Product Development Unit Radio (PDU Radio) drives the end-to-end research and development of Ericsson’s radio products and solutions. We are a global organization, within Development Unit Networks (DNEW), of approximately 4500 engineers and developers collaborating across nine sites in Canada, China and Sweden to drive Ericsson’s strategy of securing our ongoing market leadership in radio, taking a leadership position in 5G.

Continuous Integration & Infrastructure (CI&I) department leads the development of the Radio Software Production Product, our CI machinery. The department consists of global teams working in several areas like SW lab, CI Infrastructure and flows, Test Framework, Build, Machine Learning, Operation & Architect

We are now looking for a Test Framework Developer to our CI&I department. In this role you will, together with your team, be responsible to develop and maintain our test automation framework. This includes identifying new requirements needed for the framework, which is investigated by participating in the early product development phases and test analysis work.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain test automation framework
• Collaborate with CI (Continues Verification and Integration) machinery (build, lab, executers)
• Perform trouble shooting and handling TRs
• Work on improvements of products and processes
• Be involved in product test analysis, collect and discover new requirements
• Be part of the E2E software development process, such as design, coding, testing, integration, release and documentation
• Educate framework users and provide support to users in different regions

You will bring

• A degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Experience from automation of large build and delivery systems
• Some years' experience of working with Software Development
• Solid Java programming skills and experience with Python
• Experience in automation test and automation engines (such as TestNG/JUnit)
• Experience in Software Development supporting tools (Gerrit, Git, Jenkins)
• Experience in Linux/Unix
• Experience in web services (REST) and Maven build automation tool
• Proficiency in English

Any of the below is a plus

• Experiences as a Software architect
• Experience in JCAT or CI
• Good knowledge of Radio system
•
