Azure Data Engineer

About the role:

We’re now looking for a great Data Engineer to strengthen our growing Engineering team who is interested in working with state-of-the-art data technologies and frameworks, enabling informed decision-making and having a big impact on your everyday work. As we’re growing internationally our amount of data will grow even more and you will be an integral part of a company set out to make our customers more data-driven and enjoy work even more.

You as an Azure Data Engineer will be part of the strategic drive in working along with multi-discipline teams through the full delivery lifecycle of complex data products and pipelines with a clear understanding of large-scale data engineering and data science solutions. You will deliver use cases for one of our customers and develop practical solutions and implement them to give this customer a competitive edge within the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:

As an Azure Data Engineer, you will help clients transform their business, mostly driven by digital opportunities and technology. In a typical program, you are working at the intersection of business and technology with a sound understanding of the business drivers and the capabilities of IT and how these can contribute to running an organization better or different.

Requirements:

• Can start from July 1st
• Minimum 4 years of experience in IT in any field.
• Knows SQL
• Knows at least one programming language like Java/Python/C++/Scala/Shell script
• Living in Sweden (Stockholm is preferred)

Your profile:

• A clear understanding of core cloud concepts
• Strong experience in Azure ADF
• Strong experience working with Azure Databricks
• Hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure covering - designing, building, testing and maintaining cloud applications and related services
• High proficiency in Azure PowerShell and Azure CLI
• Strong understanding of core concepts - Azure data storage, Azure compute, data connections, APIs and Security on cloud
• Hands-on experience working with Azure Data Bricks, ARM templates, Azure Functions
• Exposure to Azure service monitoring and error management
• Good Experience in Azure DevOps, Generic CI/CD process and Dev ops tools such as GIT/Jenkins/Maven
• Strong programming skill sets which may include - Python, Scala, Java (At least one)
• Strong concepts of containerization, working with Docker applications, RESTful services
• Knowledge and exposure to structured and unstructured data, file formats, storage etc.
