Machine Learning Engineer / AI Developer

The advanced analytics team, which operates as part of business development, is looking for a Machine Learning Engineer / AI Developer to strengthen its ranks. This broad and exciting role will be at the center of our AI and digitalization efforts.

As a member of the advanced analytics team, you will be working in an ambitious, self-governing, and operational team where there is ample opportunity to learn and grow. We work actively with mentoring and feedback!

The team works in a context where business, technology and mathematics intersect, and is leveraging a wide range of technologies and tooling to bring insights and new data-driven abilities to life. As a Machine Learning Engineer / AI Developer, you will be working with extending and supporting our platform to drive further value. The right candidate has a strong desire to work broadly with tech and AI and is not afraid to test new things. In this role the right candidate will have a fantastic opportunity to broaden their skillsets.

For this role we will consider both experienced and junior candidates.

High level description:

- Work operationally with your colleagues in the analytics team to build new AI and data-driven products and use cases in a broad sense: everything from front end, back end, DevOps, infrastructure, MLOps, modelling and data. We do not expect you to know all these topics, but you should be willing to approach and learn them with our support.
- Work together with business stakeholders across the groups’ various companies in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Poland.
- Collaborate with data engineers in the group data team to ensure that we get access to high quality data.

You:

- Can-do mentality – eager to learn and try new technical things. This is especially important since the role is very broad: we do not expect you to be an expert of everything (nor know it from the get-go), but you should be willing to try new technologies and learn!
- Technical degree of some kind within fields such as mathematics, computer science, engineering, or the natural sciences
- Interest in full-stack software development, machine learning, distributed systems and building scalable and robust data driven products
- Willing to collaborate and both give and receive constructive feedback
- Solid programming experience in a major language, e.g., Python, JS, Java, or similar
- Working knowledge of databases and able to write SQL
- Comfortable with using version control
- Able to communicate well in English

We expect you to:

- Help build products with a full-stack focus using Python, Node, React, Spark, Snowflake, MongoDB, dbt and more depending on profile – what you do not know, we will teach you
- Help set up and manage infrastructure with Docker, Kubernetes and Terraform
- Help build reproducible analytic pipelines using Airflow, Databricks and MLflow
- Integrate analytic capabilities with other digital products run and developed by the group
- Be serious about delivering high quality code

Nice to have:

- Experience with web development
- Experience with CI/CD
- Experience with agile ways of working
- Linux experience is always a plus
