Our Live OTT team is looking for a Protocol DeveloperNet Insight recently entered the Over-the-Top (OTT) market to solve the live OTT streaming challenges and will now together with our customer, the global communications service provider Tata Communications, implement the first truly live OTT solution globally. Net Insight is uniquely positioned to bring real-time delivery of content, which enables true live OTT distribution, supporting and encouraging social interactivity among television audiences.

About the position

You will be joining a fast growing and experienced team of developers, architects and testers who are experts within video, network, backend and high performance computing.

As a Protocol Developer you will work with development of streaming protocols for large-scale distribution of live video. The group's tasks include developing the protocol, implementing and testing it on a large scale.

The position is a permanent employment, full time and based at Net Insight’s headquarters in Stockholm.

Do you have what it takes to join us?

Your background

Minimum 5 years relevant work experience
You have good experience in developing in C
You have good knowledge of source code portability and network protocols
You have experience in working in an agile environment with continuous integration and testing
It’s beneficial if you have experience of work involving automatic control engineering, embedded systems and experience of working in environments with real-time requirements.
