Then you might be the one we are looking for to join us at Technologies, one of the departments within Axis R&D, with responsibility for developing Axis product platforms that are the base for all Axis Embedded Linux Products.
Who is your future team?
Our Platform Security Team designs and implements core software blocks for Axis boot, firmware handling and cyber security. The deliverables of the team are a crucial part of the Axis Core Product Platform and are used across the Axis product portfolio. The team is the first one to get hold of the very first chip samples that arrive to Axis with the task to get them up and running (activity called bring-up) and enable other teams to start their work.
What you'll do here as Embedded Software Engineer?
You will mainly work with:
* Boot and boot loaders for Axis ASICs and external chipsets
* Secure boot through all boot stages
* Firmware image generation
* Firmware upgrade
* Flash device management
* Tools for device bring up
* Interfacing internal and external teams
The team also has following responsibilities:
* Trusted Firmware and Execution Environment
* Firmware for crypto subsystems
* Input to Axis Security Roadmap and use cases
* Specification of Axis ASICs from security and boot perspectives
* Validation of Axis ASICs
* Evaluation of hardware blocks and platforms from security perspective
Who are we looking for/Who are you?
You are an analytic and dedicated person with a strong personal drive, an eye for details, and an ability to work both unsupervised and as a part of a team. You enjoy working hands-on with writing code and debugging IoT devices. You have the ability to think ahead and design future proof solutions.
We'd love to hear that you have/are:
* Master's degree in computer science, electrical engineering or similar
* Experience in low-level C (and assembly) programming for embedded systems
* Experience in programming for embedded Linux
* Genuine interest in IoT/embedded systems and cyber security
* Experience in Python
* Knowledge within secure development and testing
* Knowledge of Git, Gerrit and Jenkins
* Experience with hardware debugging (JTAG)
The position is office-based and you will be located in Axis HQ in Lund, Sweden.
