Adtoox is expanding rapidly and now seeks a Team Leader/Senior Systems Developer - Research

Adtoox is a file based delivery service customized for commercials and editorial content. We are integrated with more than 300 broadcasters and publishers across Europe. We secure that each material delivered is logged, encoded, quality assured, stored and controlled accordingly to all specifications and deadlines. We streamline the work for advertisers, media agencies, ad agencies, production companies, post houses and media owners.

By managing more than 100.000 deliveries (6.000 brands) each year, Adtoox is one of the biggest suppliers in Europe. We integrate 7.600 users and serve over 700 different suppliers (submitting ads). 800 different advertisers have created their own accounts in Adtoox.

As a senior developer we would like that you have a minimum of 5 years experience, but in the end it comes down what you?ve done and who you are.
You will be working in an autonomous development team responsible for our products related to Campaign Measurements, survey construction tools and diagram generation. These products are built with maximal configurability and flexibility. The team you will be a part of are working in an ever improving Agile process.

Responsibilities
- Share the teams technical project lead
- Maintain and develop the survey related products
- Design object-oriented solutions for requested functionality
- Accumulate deep knowledge in the Java frameworks used by the team. E.g. Wicket
- Coach and support the other team members in questions related to coding, design and troubleshooting
- Maintain and improve the development process. E.g. Using SCRUM
- Be a spokesperson for the team and attend meetings and discussions with the other team leads

Requirements
- Good communication and interpersonal skills in both Swedish and English
- Deep knowledge and experience in object-oriented programming. (Java or C# is preferred)
- Knowledge and experience in design patterns and how to design and write maintainable, readable, modular and efficient code
- A passion for clean code and software craftsmanship
- Knowledge and experience in RDBMS and SQL.
- Knowledge and experience in application servers such as Tomcat, JBoss, etc.
- Experience developing using IDEs such as Eclipse, NetBeans, IntelliJ

Very desired attributes
- Knowledge and experience working in an agile environment using agile methodologies such as SCRUM, Kanban, etc.
- Knowledge and experience working with the web application framework Wicket. (Wicket 6 and up)
- Knowledge and experience using interface oriented design
- Good mathematical skills in combinatorics and complexity theory

Desired attributes
- Experience in test driven development (TDD) and unit testing frameworks. For example, JUnit
- Intermediate knowledge of HTML
- Intermediate knowledge of CSS
- Intermediate knowledge of JavaScript
- Knowledge and experience in continuous integration/delivery tools such as Jenkins
- Knowledge and experience in java build tools such as Ant, Maven, Gradle, etc.
- Experience working with the ORM framework Hibernate on a large scale project
- Knowledge and experience in Internet protocols and standards such as HTTP, TLS, FTP, TCP, UDP, SSH, etc
- Video knowledge
- Audio knowledge
