Your mission 

We are currently looking for a Network Design Engineer with a focus on OT (Operational Technology) Networks & Automation. You will be a part of the Network & Connectivity Solutions Team, working in close collaboration with agile development teams. Your mission will be to develop network solutions supporting the different Epiroc machine applications.

Your profile 

To be successful in this role, you should be able to work in a team but also take responsibility and work independently when needed. You are collaborative and willing to share knowledge and experience. You will actively participate in various projects and propose appropriate technical solutions, therefore, a good ability to communicate in English in both speech and writing is necessary.

We believe you have a degree in the field of electronics, telecommunications, automation or computer science or equivalent work experience. You have a great interest in network technology, wireless communication, cyber security, control systems and industrial automation and preferably, have a few years of experience in OT, automation and/or the heavy vehicle industry. You need a solid knowledge and experience in switching, routing, wireless and cyber security and be accustomed to working with Unix / Linux OS - server administration, shell scripting, etc. Knowledge and experience of Cisco products (or similar) are also required.

It is desirable that you hold certifications such as CCNA, CCNAW, CCNP, CCNPS, CEH and have knowledge of SDN, virtualization, programming in Python and telecom networks such as 4G and 5G.

Location and travel

This position is located in Örebro, Sweden. Occasional travel is required.
