We are now looking for an IT Solution Architect who wants to be part of SMT's initiative regarding the implementation of a new ERP system, M3. The role is located within Tube IT and its M3 competence center. Within SMT we run a number of implementation projects and in order to meet the demands and requirements from our customers we hope to find new, driven colleagues. Job Summary
In the role as solution architect, you contribute with technical guidance, control and information gathering as well as stake holder for implementing IT solutions that support the needs of the business. You map the company's technical requirements and transform these into IT solutions through interaction with the organization, industry experts and IT suppliers to create a solution design adapted to the business.
Your role also includes research and analysis of the organization's current technical landscape, where you participate and provide suggestions for improvements in how to utilize and expand our business technology investments. You also act as a trend scout and conduct research on new and emerging technology that can be applied practically to our business challenges and strategic initiatives.
Your Profile
We believe that you have a university degree in a relevant field and / or possess equivalent competence through work experience. You have strong knowledge in Windows and experienced with SQL, Java, and databases (DB2, SQL-server). You have a genuine interest in developing IT solutions and have experience of integrations with other system solutions. Knowledge of M3 and INFOR OS (ION, ming.le, Homepages etc.) is also meriting. Experience from global organizations is an advantage as we work in an international environment with English as business language, however understanding Swedish would be advantageous.
We put great importance to your personal qualities, which are characterized by a solution-oriented and analytical ability. You are a driven and committed creator and have experience of driving and participating in projects. With the help of your good communication skills, you interact with stakeholders in the IT area and are at the forefront of new innovations and developments.
You have natural leadership qualities and have the ability to drive projects, while you are sensitive and inspire your colleagues to think in new directions and together perform the utmost to achieve common goals.
