UX Manager

The Software Product Management team handles all software products within the Rosemount level portfolio. Our mission is to drive continuous feature growth with focus on customer value and best in class user experience. The software product portfolio stretches from configuration/diagnostic software to operator software and mobile/cloud based applications.

The person we are looking for is passionate about creating user experiences that are intuitive and motivating. Has a strong personal drive and are able to see the big picture unifying an experience across multiple products while working on details to make valuable improvements for our customers.

As a UX Manager, you will provide leadership within user insight driven and user centered product design. You will be the owner of our software design systems in Figma and lead our growing UX design team. You will have a wide network of internal and external contacts collaborating with engineers, product-, business- and solutions managers, and most importantly our customers to find elegant but practical solutions to design challenges.

You will organize and conduct frequent user studies to validate product concepts and to vet ideas as well as driving them with attention to details into the finished product.

Requirements

You have strong communication and presentation skills and leadership comes naturally for you. You possess interpersonal competence with an ability to work in teams with empathy, responsibility and persuasiveness.

We also see that you

• Hold a degree in product development, technical, or marketing, with a focus on UX design.
• Are fluent in both verbal and written English.
• Have at least 5 years of professional relevant experience.

It is a merit if you have experience within any of below

• Defining user journeys, wire-frames and complex workflows.
• Prototyping and user testing strategies.
• Designing interfaces and interactions for complex software applications.
• Large scale design systems.
