Scrum Product Owner

As a Scrum Product Owner you play a central role in our agile way of working and you will lead the development for our software products, together with the Product Manager and System/Software Architect.

Responsibilities

The Scrum Product Owner will provide the customer and product management view of the product to the development team. You will also channel development and engineering recommendations to product management as input for the prioritization of product roadmap. The main artifact you use is the Product Backlog where we define product features to be developed, and set priority which is used in the planning of the development team work.

To succeed in this role, you are passionate about how software can be used to provide innovative solutions for end users, driving results and enjoy making prioritizations and quality decisions. Working with team communication and collaboration needs to come natural for you.

You will belong to our engineering department, where you will have the opportunity to build a broad network, having contacts with our product management representatives as well as with internal and external development teams. The development activities performed by our development teams is located in Sweden and globally.

Requirements

For this position, we see that you have:

• At least a Bachelor university degree from Computer Science engineering, IT or equivalent.
• Have strong analytical skills and a structured approach.
• Excellent English communication skills, written and spoken, as our business environment is highly international and multi-cultural
• At least 5 years of experience using Scrum (or similar derivates e.g. SAFe) in software development

Furthermore, it’s a merit having:

• A Scrum Product Owner or Scrum Master certificate
• Experience in areas like requirements elicitation and management, human centered design/UX, software development and work with distributed development teams.
• Experience in the Industrial Automation domain including applicable software products and instrumentation
