Genesys core components are the part of whole solution developed by Company. It provides voce services related functionality: SIP switch, routing, orchestration and so on. Their operate in standalone, multisite and cluster mode.

Job description

Genesys DEVOPS team is responsible for delivery of robust and scalable Genesys solution as Cloud Service. Contributing to development of Genesys solution components. Creating, maintaining and extending automated deployment of Genesys Pure Engage Cloud; establishing monitoring and alerting; upgrades, feature delivery, customer service configuration and scaling.

Snr SW Engineer will be part of Genesys DEVOPS team working on developing Genesys Web Services component, and interfacing with Cloud Operations and NOC teams with the tasks of performing GWS deployment and upgrades, GWS monitoring and health checks, exposing GWS APIs to Engage Pure Cloud customers.

Snr SW Engineer responsibilities: Design, implementation and deployment of Genesys Web Services components and APIs. Collaboration with other Genesys teams (engineering, operations and NOC) to establish robust service delivery process.

Required skills and experience:

• Computer Science major
• Bachelor or Master Degree in Technical/Computer Science or Engineering
• Previous experience working in software engineering domain (3+ years)
• Knowledge of programming languages (Java/JavaScript)
• Knowledge of scripting programming languages (python, ruby)
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes is a plus
• Knowledge of AWS (especially ECS and CloudFormation) is a plus
• Experience with RDBMS (Postgres) and NoSQL solutions (Apache Cassandra/Redis/Elasticsearch) is a plus
• Must have the right to work and reside in Sweden
