Senior Technical Artist

If this sounds like a challenge you’re interested in, we’re now looking for a Senior Technical Artist to strengthen the team in our office in Stockholm.

The Position
The Senior Technical Artist (TA) acts as a bridge between the artists and
engineers. They are considered part of the production engineering team
and work closely with artists, developers, and managers.

The main areas of responsibility include art production workflows, tools,
pipelines, asset optimization/integration and shader development. TAs are
expected to assume ownership over any technical issues that arise on
their projects and drive them to resolution. You will also have an
important role in our implementation of Unreal Engine technologies.

As the Senior Technical Artist, you will make sure that programmers will
do programming and artists will create art. You will act as their in-between
bridge, making sure our pipeline runs smoothly.

Who we are looking for
- Experience in character rigging and props rigging in Maya.A foundation in at least one ‘traditional’ category such as 3D art,
animation or programming.
- Interest in contributing to the research and development of charactertechnology.Strong Python and/or C++ skillsStrong problem-solving skills
- General understanding of character/animation pipeline.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills and someone who's a teamplayer.
- Leadership skills, communicate well, motivate their team, handle and
delegate responsibilities, listen to feedback, and have the flexibility to
solve problems in an ever-changing workplace.

It would also be great if you have:

- Experience in Unreal Engine Control Rig and developing Full body IK
Rigs, etc. (edited)
- Experience developing character and facial animation related
technology.
- Experience with motion capture systems. (edited) ̈
- Experience working in realtime in Unreal Engine.
- Experience of Unreal Engine Blueprint
- Experience in creating Unreal Engine shaders
