Software developer

Your role

The Electronic Warfare and Aircraft Systems business unit provides world class signal intelligence systems and self-protection systems for next generation Gripen and GlobalEye. We are now looking for a skilled and driven software developer to strengthen our Integration Software section. We suppose that you have experience in software engineering and are proactive and reliable team player with good communications skills.

The section consists of highly skilled software engineers working with cutting- edge technology and applications for electronic warfare. You will develop software for integration, verification and maintenance. This supports development of new products as well as fault isolation in existing products. Developers also actively support and contribute to an innovative climate for our product development and our ongoing projects.

Our development is done by teams in a modern, agile fashion with distributed responsibilities and high efficiency. You will be located in Järfälla with occasional travelling. Saab is a high technology global company and will provide good opportunities to grow inside the company and work abroad. Flexitime is available.

Your profile

We are looking for you who

* Have at least Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or the equivalent working experience
* Have good skills in programming with Java or C++
* Like to work with latest technologies close to hardware
* Have experience in design, develop and implement automatic test programs for design verification and production testing
* Skills in RF (radio frequency) is an advantage
* Have understanding of agile development
* Are fluent in Swedish and English

The position entails working with classified information.

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
