What is in it for you?  
The electrical transformation drives new solutions for the climate system. New smarter solutions that are more energy efficient are required to contribute to the continuous need for increased driving range without compromising on the comfort for the passengers. We are now looking for new members to the Climate SW teams, responsible for function development, calibration, and verification of the climate software. 

ART Climate is responsible for the comfort perceived in by customers in the compartment and partially for thermally managing the high voltage battery in the vehicle. 
The software developing teams are divided into HVAC control team and Refrigerant & Heating team. Each team is, amongst other things, responsible for developing diagnostic functions for their respective systems. 

Who are we looking for? 
To be successful we believe that you have experience from developing diagnostic functions, in the field of automotive, preferably in refrigerant or HVAC systems. You are skilled in seeing the need and acting in accordance. In addition, you have the tenacity to bring an idea to industrialization by implementing, testing, and calibrating it. You understand the need for good communication. You like to listen and learn from others as well as share your knowledge.

Parts of the work will be in front of the computer designing and implementing world-leading algorithms, parts will be in different locations around the world testing and verifying your solutions in vehicle.

Dependent on your competences you will be able to contribute to function development, testing, and releasing climate SW to the customer. You are engaged in the way of working and strive to continuously improve quality and processes, bringing new competences and experiences into the team. 

To be successful in the role you should have 
•    An agile mindset and a strong drive to develop excellent quality. 
•    B.Sc. or M.Sc. within Systems, Control and Mechatronics, SW Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics or equivalent experience.  
•    An interest in diagnostic monitor development  
•    An interest in data analytics 
•    A valid car driving license (B)

Appreciated skills 
•    Knowledge about control systems in embedded software. 
•    Experience of Simulink and Matlab development 
•    Understanding of Continuous Integration 
•    Knowledge about CANoe/CANalyzer 
•    Knowledge about INCA/MDA 
•    Knowledge about GIT, Gerrit, Zuul 
•    Knowledge about Python 
•    HVAC and refrigerant system knowledge 
•    Automotive industry experience 
•    Good level of written and spoken English
