Description:
You are a well-rounded software developer who knows how to create robust high-performance software, and can develop prototypes quickly. The work is challenging, creative, fast paced and intellectually stimulating.
Your responsibilities will include design, development, implementation and testing of backends that work within a larger product suite. You will be involved in multiple applications. Examples are communication with social media platforms and co-browsing of http sites. Some of apps are on premise, some are cloud. Backends are built with Spring or NodeJS. There might be some Python code as well. We use JIRA, GitHUB, Jenkins for CI, VMware ESXi for test environment. We believe in code reviews and unit, functional, regression and performance testing.
Skills needed:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Willingness to work on both Java and JavaScript backends (It is ok if you are not expert in one of them)
- 7+ years of programming experience in Java and/or JS/NodeJS
- 2+ years of experience with HTTP/Rest interfaces implementation.
- Proficiency using a source control system
- Critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Readiness to learn new technologies.
- You need to have the regal right to work and reside in Sweden
Pluses:
- Experience with Python
- Experience with Spring
- Experience with AWS/Azure
- Experience with Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery processes
- Experience in cloud computing technologies
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL data bases
- Proficiency using a source control system
