Design / UX Director to SQLI Nordics

SQLI Nordics is the leading supplier of e-commerce platforms in Sweden. We see ourselves a bit as outsiders in a compliant IT market - and we want to remain so. Where the old dragons are the empire, we are the rebels. Small enough to be fast and flexible, but with the force of our French owners SQLI we also have enough muscle to win the big customers. This means that we can work with accounts such as Carlsberg, Volvo Cars, Tele2, DeLaval and Apoteket while still being able to be fast and nimble. And now we need to expand our family with a Design/UX Director.

SQLI Nordics is the leading provider of e-commerce platforms in Sweden. And thing are going well. So well, in fact, that we are now looking for a number of new band members who will help us take the next step, both in the delivery to our customers as well as SQLI and companies.

One of these new positions is a Design / UX Director. A service we see as absolutely central in our offer, and a guiding star for where we as a company are headed. As Design / UX Director at SQLI Nordics you will be responsible not only for concepts used in pitches for existing customers, but also how we present ourselves and look. As Design / UX Director, you will also be responsible for our existing UX and design team as well as being one of the governing members of our various customer teams. You will also be part of a dynamic duo together with our Marketing Manager when it comes to our own visibility, advertising, and employer branding. In addition to concepts and brands at a high level, you will also work with deliveries to customers and our own marketing material.

Who are you?
As a person, you are a powerhouse when it comes to design and creativity, whilst not seeing this as an opposite to good business sense. Since this is a senior role, you are obviously not only a senior person in terms of your knowledge, but you also have a background to match. Being sharp when it comes to form, concepts and graphic design is more important than your craft in UX / wireframes (where we already have a very competent team) - but of course more than just a basic knowledge is required here as well.
