SCA IT is a global services partner with the purpose of adding value to SCA by delivering a broad range of IT services to all the different business categories.

SCA IT has been involved in early initiatives with both Tena and Tork teams to support market introductions of new innovations in each respective brand.
In line with the strategic direction to drive digitalization, SCA IT will now recruit long-term resources to support these digital innovations who will be working closely with the business to jointly deliver competitive market facing, full life cycle services based on a combination of existing or enhanced products in combination using web & mobile development in an IoT context.
The initial focus will be to support the digital business venture aimed at delivering innovative and connected hygiene solutions for the strong Tork brand.
We are now looking for individuals who are passionate about software development in a very close business collaboration context based on IoT (from sensor to big data analysis).

Main Tasks
Participate in breakdown of business requirements into detailed requirements
Exploit innovation opportunities combining external/internal resources and technologies
Drive estimations with the development team and ensure the requirements are met during development
Perform development tasks in the scrum team to achieve agreed business values
Conduct workshops or key meetings to capture business requirements
Own and groom the backlog to make sure that the development team and business are aligned

Additional tasks as Senior Application Developer

Steer additional external developers when appropriate
Participate in requirement setting for technical components and solution architecture together with selected partners
Building team capacity in emerging technologies related to the space of embedded product development of digital solutions
Identify and evaluate new technical capabilities related to development of digital business solutions together with other IT departments and the OCIO
Drive development methodology & efficiency in order to improve time to market and quality
SLA ownership

Key Competencies
Experience of analyzing and breaking down problems and information using a structured approach
Fluid in Microsoft Visual Studio and .Net MVC, C#, SQL, JavaScript and HTML/CSS including modern web frameworks
Experience both from front-end and back-end development
Experience from working in R&D and Innovation organizations
High analytical capacity   
A minimum of 3 years application development experience
Experience from development work using Scrum or similar agile work method          
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English speaking work settings, including the ability to facilitate meetings
Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with business stakeholders, external development partners and other IT departments
Communications experience in the IoT space (BLE, ZigBee, etc) and/or embedded systems is a plus
Mobile application development experience with iOS and Android is a plus
DevOps experience based on MS Azure or similar environment is a plus
Willingness to travel

Education

 University degree in Information Technology, Systems/Computer Systems Science
Microsoft .Net certification are a plus
