Responsibilities

• Build and maintain stable and secure services, starting with the creation of staging and production environments according to industry best practices.
• Improve on our existing infrastructure services management with modern methodologies and platforms (Infrastructure as Code)
• Provide consulting and training services to operations teams.

Requirement/ Must have

• Experience with cloud services (preferably OpenStack) and solutions architecture activities.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Exposure to a variety of best practices and tools for CI/CD workflows, such as Zuul / Gitlab CD / Jenkins / GitHub Actions.
• Knowledge of version control
• Good collaboration and communication skills
• Good understanding of service operations (issue troubleshooting experience, monitoring, ticket management)

Good to have

• Knowledge of software development tools/languages (Python preferred).
• Practical experience with containerization and workload orchestration (Kubernetes),

or

• Practical experience with implementation of database solutions (MySQL/MariaDB, Galera/Percona clusters, PostgreSQL)

Personal Qualities

• Genuinely interested in new technologies, software or hardware.
• Well-organised and structured.

• Full-time position with 6-months probationary period
• Leave Policy: 6 weeks paid vacation as an employee and 4 weeks paid vacation as a contractor

• Remote work: Work everywhere you want from the EU, and whenever you want, as long as you're working a minimum of 40 hours a week and according to the company and project needs.

Type of Employment

Full-time position.

If you live in Sweden or Germany, you would be directly employed by our Swedish entity, and in Germany by our German subsidiary.

If you live in any country other than Sweden or Germany (but within EU), we will enter into a contractual agreement as applicable to the legal situation in your country.

Salary and compensation will be negotiated during the interview process.
