Dirac's sound optimization tools and technologies are used by audio and acoustics professionals as well as consumers throughout the world. The professional users mainly work with audio and acoustics product development for Home, Automotive, and Mobile platforms. Smartphone manufacturers license Dirac technology and embed our sound processing on Android devices for a better mobile sound experience. We offer our customers libraries as well as full Android integrations.

In your role as Android software developer you are creative and thorough, striving for a well thought out system that is flexible and customizable. You are an experienced Android Java developer and have worked closely with Android framework and SDKs. In this position, you are going and and thrive in an environment where you get to influence our products.

For this position, you must have very good skills in the following areas:

- At least 3 years of development on the Android environment
- Experience in low level programming on the Android environment

On top of that, the following skills and experiences are nice to have:

- Development towards Audio Flinger
- Development of the interface between Java and C in Android
- Interest in sound and music
- Background in signal processing
- Knowledge of AOSP
- Development of Android in embedded environment
