Senior System Administrator with Development Experience

Team description
Financial Services IT is a part of the Digital Core Department at IT and its responsibility is to provide sustainable IT solutions and innovative IT expertise within the Financial Services area, thus one of our group’s primary purpose is together with FS to harmonize the global IT landscape.

We want to bring you and some other awesome new IT colleague to our new group to support the transformation of our high-performance agile teams that consist of architects, developers, service managers and some other stars that makes this constellation pretty special. The ultimate goal is of course to have happy users within all SFS communities who can use the power of software and data to make better decisions.

Profile
In our new team we need a curious, proactive and dynamic person who will act both as System Administrator and Junior Developer in a very challenging & exciting area.

This role is about maintenance & support, but also to join us in shaping the future ahead, gathering knowledge and taking the responsibility to move current processes and applications to the right setup. We believe you are a proactive and service-minded person with an agile mindset, who is willing to learn and explore new areas of knowledge.

We believe you are self-confident and that you are not afraid to question us and the organization. You have good and analytical problem-solving skills. Being a good communicator and working proactively are key characteristics for this role.

Responsibilities
You will provide support and maintenance to several applications and processes consumed by Scania Financial Services, Scania Credit and Scania Finance.

Some of your daily tasks
• Environment and Application support (IM/PM)
• Access handling
• Configuration and upgrades (CM)
• Troubleshoot, debug and refactor of existing systems

Basic Qualifications
• Preferably you have a degree in Computer science or some industry-leading certifications
• Experience in IT support and maintenance (e.g. Incident, Problem, Change, Configuration Management)
• Knowledge of Operating systems (Linux, Windows Server)
• Knowledge and experience of agile principles and ways of working
• Experience with Database, e.g. basic SQL Queries
• Extensive understanding of Infrastructure; Middleware, Network and Storage
• Backup & Recovery and Monitoring
• Basic knowledge with .NET and React/Angular
• The work environment is international and our corporate language is English

An extra gold star is given if you also have some knowledge and experience in below
• Relational databases (Aurora PostgreSQL / AWS)
• Data Analytics
• Systems in the Financial Services area
