The Software Product Management team handles all software products within the Rosemount level portfolio. It includes configuration and diagnostic software to provide best in class user experience as well as important operator software and mobile/cloud based applications.
The person we are looking for has a strong personal drive with a strategic mindset and can identify customer needs and the larger business objectives that a product or feature will fulfill, also understanding the technologies in the products.
As Product Manager, you will be the voice of the customer, and seek to understand how we can improve our existing portfolio or create new products for the future. We are looking for a senior profile with good leadership skills and a minimum of five years’ experience in relevant positions.
In this role you will manage assigned software products and be responsible for their long term strategy and roadmap. You will have a wide network of internal and external contacts and work closely with our business units and customers in order to understand customer and market needs. You will collaborate with internal functions such as system architects, UX designers and business solution managers to transform customer and market insights/needs into user stories and software features providing the most customer value and the best user experience. You will be an important partner to our engineering teams when driving our software products and solution from idea to launch and continuous growth.

You have previous experience within software product management delivering product marketing/business strategies. You have a broad technical understanding rather than deep and narrow expertise. You have strong communication and presentation abilities and leadership comes naturally for you. Furthermore, you thrive in a collaborative environment with numerous contacts.
We also see that you
- Hold a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- Are fluent in both verbal and written English.
- Have at least five years of professional relevant experience.
It is a merit if you have experience within any of below
- Software business models
- IT/OT cybersecurity (IEC 62443, ISA 27001)
- Distributed Control Systems, SCADA Software
- UX/UI design
