About Scania Software Factory 

At our Software Factory we have four main sectors with different specialisations but still working tightly together: 

• Autonomous transport solutions 
Autonomous vehicle development at Scania is advancing at an extremely high pace and self-driving trucks and buses on public roads will soon become exposed. Autonomous Transport Solutions (ATS) Research at Scania is responsible for developing, testing, and piloting future autonomous concepts.  

• Connectivity 
Connectivity at Scania is one of the key components in Scania's “driving the shift” strategy. At Connected Systems, we develop and operate Scanias IoT solutions. It spans from in-vehicle, via Telecom to the Scania back-end platform. Scania today has over 600.000 (and counting) vehicles and other products connected online. 

• Embedded platform 
At Scania Embedded platform you will create and impact Scanias electrical and embedded systems, including methodology, processes, and architecture. This affects how about 1000 employees are working with the embedded development.  

• Embedded software and functions 
All kind of functions for the vehicle is developed here. It spans from chassis systems and driver functions to ADAS and different platforms and tools. Here you will have an impact on many important aspects of the truck and a lot of cross-functional work in the organization.

We have a wide scope of roles and interesting challenges, depending on your interest and background:

• Architects; Safety, Information, Solution, Business or Enterprise Architects.  
 
• Developers; Embedded, Cloud, Methods, Cyber security, Data scientist 
 
• Leading roles; Project managers, Scrum masters, Product owners, System owners, Release Train Engineers, Functional safety management, SW update management, Method coaches
 
• Engineers; Safety engineers, Diagnostics, Designers

Your profile 

If you have a BSc or MSc in a relevant technical field and/or experience from the industry in any of these areas we will match your qualifications with a relevant opportunity at Scania Software Factory. Depending on what role you are interested in, different software skills and technical backgrounds are required. Software development skills vary from C, C++, and Python to AWS, .Net, Linux, Android, JavaScript, etc. You are familiar with agile work. 

We believe in diversity and good communication, and you will feel at home if you are a team player with strong integrity and a curious mindset. You communicate well in English, both written and spoken.
