At Shopit we are developing a large-scale online consumer Shopping Search Engine for all of Europe. Our goal is to make all products, brands and retailers searchable in one shopping search engine. To achieve this we are using the latest technologies within data mining, big data, data analysing, parallel processing, search engine logic and social shopping functionality together with modern web design and user experience for both web and mobile devices.

Since we are constantly pushing the boundaries in software and systems development to create new and exiting functionality, we invite the sharpest minds that love hard challenges to be part of our mission.

You will be managing our 50+ servers in our data center here in Växjö, Sweden, along with setting up and developing new high-capacity server systems such as CDNs (Content Delivery Networks), video streaming servers etc for our upcomming expansion throughout Europe.

You should have 5+ years of documented knowledge of setting up and administrating:
- Linux servers (Ubuntu)
- Load-balanced and distributed web server systems (NginX, Express etc)
- Deployment systems (GIT/GITLab, CI, Jenkins)
- Replicated databases and DB-optimizing (mostly MySQL/NoSQL)
- Content Delivery Networks (CDN) for images and Video streaming systems
- Server and network monitoring systems (Nagios)
- Server and network security

You should be willing to re-locate to working full-time onsite together with our dedicated team in Växjö.
