Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

Do you want to enable AI development by optimizing data pipelines and enabling efficient data collection and labeling? Join our team in the venture of operationalizing AI for autonomous driving solutions!

AI development for autonomous driving is heavily data-centric. Tools and infrastructure for collecting, transferring, organizing, enriching and processing the data are instrumental for the efficient development of the autonomous driving stack. The group AI Technologies covers the complete task from data selection, annotation, Deep Neural Network (DNN), and other algorithms development to deployment of our DNNs on the target system in our autonomous driving prototype vehicles.

Who we are
We are a team of 14 people specializing in AI and computer vision who pursue research and development of future cutting-edge ATS concepts.

Our culture is based upon delivering added customer value through research and practical experiments that iteratively lead to concepts for industrialization. Exploring concepts, following and pushing state-of-the-art, evaluating, learning and iterating fast is our focus.

To succeed in this we embrace diversity and equal opportunity in a serious way. Our group is committed to building a team that represents a variety of backgrounds, perspectives, and skills.

Examples of tasks:

• working with databases
• tools to make every day smoother for users of our data
• C++ software development and scripting
• working in a Linux environment
• front-end development

Your  profile
In our team, we are analytical, result-oriented, self-driven and face new challenges with a positive, can-do attitude. To enjoy working with us we believe you are open and curious towards your teammates, and supporting and contributing to the development with your technical expertise. We need reinforcement and would like you to have:

• Experience from working with various tools is a definite plus
• Ability to deliver in a large software setting
• Previous experience in vehicle autonomy, in any domain is welcome
• GPU programming is a plus

We  offer
At Scania ATS Research we want you to succeed and develop because together with your team you contribute to a sustainable future securing a leading position for Scania in the autonomous industry.

Working at Scania you are offered benefits such as personnel car, mutual performance bonus, occupational pension, distance working in Sweden, flexible working hours, and much more.
