Do you want to be part of building the next generation of financial services? We are looking for a QA Engineer to join our Product Engineering department building our Banking as a Service Platform. SEBx is an autonomous part within SEB with the mission to challenge and explore both new technologies and new business opportunities. With this mission we challenge the conventional way of building financial services and even what a financial service is in itself. We are breaking ground into the future of the financial industry with our Banking as a Service offering.
What you will do
- Ensure automated testing becomes an intrinsic part of our process
- Be part of advising the team on necessary tests, proper organization for tests, and suitable tools for achieving efficient and comprehensive views of quality
- Regularly communicate quality issues to the broader team
- Mentor developers, ad hoc testers and other quality assurance engineers to achieve high quality test cases
- Use your increasing knowledge of the systems technical aspects and business logic to build test cases
Who you are
We see that you are a team player with a customer focus mindset. A quick learner who is comfortable with taking initiative and loves to think strategically and understands the bigger picture in the business, and yet digging into details and getting their hands dirty. And hopefully, you have knowledge, interest and experience in the following:
- Practical experience using programming in Java and Linux
- Huge plus if you have worked with QA Frameworks such as Jmeter, Karate or Cucumber
- Experience within cloud platforms, preferable Google Cloud Platform
- Exposure to the complete quality process and understanding the Architecture of complex systems
- Comfortable with version control such as Git
- Examples of cases where you’ve built test data for complex systems
- Our tech stack is fully on GCP, with services mainly built in Java 11 and Java 17, currently high usage of GigaSpaces and we are exploring other stacks. We are using gRPC internally and exposing RestAPI externally.
