Our Live OTT team is looking for Backend DevelopersNet Insight recently entered the Over-the-Top (OTT) market to solve the live OTT streaming challenges and will now together with our customer, the global communications service provider Tata Communications, implement the first truly live OTT solution globally. Net Insight is uniquely positioned to bring real-time delivery of content, which enables true live OTT distribution, supporting and encouraging social interactivity among television audiences.
We are growing and we are now in need to strengthen our team with more talented Backend Developers to join us in our exciting journey shaping the future of media.
About the position
You will be joining a fast growing and experienced team of developers, architects and testers who are experts within video, network and distributed systems.
You will work with development of a distributed backend system for video streaming with high demands on availability and reliability. The system consists of a number of micro services implemented with where each service runs in its own docker container. The system shall scale to provide a highly available service to millions of end-users.
Your background
You have experience in developing in Node.js with a solid understanding of asynchronous program flow
You have experience in working in an agile environment with continuous integration and testing
Experience of Docker, Elasticsearch, Graphite and/or Grafana is a plus
It’s beneficial if you have experience in the deployment of large systems with many servers
Experience of virtualization platforms such as VMware, Openstack or Amazon is a plus
