Who are you?

You are a pragmatic and humble developer. You, like us,  believe in the importance of diversity, inclusion and respect for the individuals. Communication skills and transparency are key qualities. Also, we want to feel good and have fun at work and we wish you share these values.

We expect you have good understanding of software development. Programming skills are important, we use mostly Python and work in Linux. The team focuses mostly on automation in large CI/CD frameworks, so you should have an interest in these areas and a willingness to learn more. We increase more and more the use of cloud resources, so understanding AWS and Docker is desirable. The department works according to the Scaled Agile Framework SAFe but even experience from other agile frameworks is excellent know-how.

Who are we?
At the department of Autonomous Systems (EA), we are developing self-driving vehicles. Our group Virtual Test Environment (EACV) is contributing to the development of autonomous solutions by enabling engineering productivity. We use state-of-the-art technologies in a dynamic and creative environment.

Product quality, stability and safety are crucial requisites for us to be able to deploy new software stack releases. To achieve this, our automation team works with commits in large test loops. Upcoming challenges for the team include automated releases, pipeline monitoring and automated troubleshooting of failing tests. We are a tight team that highly appreciates teamwork. For example, programming mob sessions happen almost on daily basis. We are always available for supporting and helping each other.

What is it like to work at Autonomous Systems in Scania?

We offer an international and dynamic environment where your knowledge and skills will be highly appreciated. Our employees are our most valuable resource, so we will invest in your professional as well as personal development.

Hybrid remote work possibilities are our current normal way of working.

As a Scania employee, you are also offered several benefits such as a mutual bonus, leasing a car, occupational pension, and flexible working hours.
