What you'll be up to:
As a DevOps engineer, you will be part of a development team responsible for building our application which we do with modern technologies based on primarily .NET Core/C#, REST APIs, Docker, and Kubernetes. You will be involved in developing, maintaining, and improving the instructor for the CI/CD workflows implemented on GitHub's DevOps toolkit and consumed mainly in the Kubernetes Orchestrator Clusters.
To be qualified for this position, you will need to meet the following qualifications:
- Background with Linux and *nix operating systems
- Experience with virtualized environments
- Experience with clustered and highly-available environments
- Experience with version control systems (git, bitbucket, etc.)
- Experience with deployment automation/configuration management
- Experience with GitHub DevOps tools
- Experience with building and maintaining CI/CD workflows
Since at Noor we host our clusters on in-house and in the cloud, dedicated servers, the following qualification will be highly appreciated:
- Configuring and administering network monitoring tools
- Configuring and administering routers and switches in a multi-vendor environment
- Configuring and administering firewall and ACLs
- Contributing to the design, implementation, and support of all network environments
- Supporting and troubleshooting switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs
- Performing network-based security risk assessments
- Assisting employees in troubleshooting and solving issues
