KNC Miner is growing and now we are looking for the next network technician to join their team.
Job description
Your main responsibility is to remote-support the several data centers stationed in Boden. This means working in a large environment, running around 500 switches and more than 10 large routers. The work tasks include; remote troubleshooting, configuration, monitoring performance, upgrades, switching and routing. A part of your job could also include working with system administration in Linux. You will also be visiting the data centers a few times a year and support our local staff there.
You are a part of the development team in Stockholm and work in an international environment with employees from 11 different nationalities. The company is in an exciting and expansive phase where the demand for bitcoin is increasing rapidly. There will be greater focus on new, innovative areas connected to bitcoin where the possibilities are endless.
Your personality
You have a great interest in the bitcoin industry and want to learn more. As a network engineer you are always one step ahead and like to contribute with proactive ideas and solutions. Good teamwork is key to success and you value structure and order.
Qualifications
- We want you to have at least 5 years of experience as a network technician in a large environment, preferably with cisco.
-CCNP certification is a requirement.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- If you have a background from banking, insurance or large corporations it helps you understand our challenges.
- It is an advantage if you hold a university degree within the network field.
- Knowledge of Linux is a plus.
