Senior Software Engineer

We are creating a new role at </Salt>for senior developers with a passion for coaching and sharing knowledge.

On a day to day basis you will work as a normal consultant delivering value for our clients as a senior developer in their teams.

But every once in a while you'll go back and working in our bootcamps or upskilling programs, teaching and coaching developers that are looking to kick-start their careers in IT. You will be mentoring them in writing clean, simple, readable code that is well tested as well as working in teams. All our bootcamps use agile methods, mobprogramming and TDD as central pillars.

You will also be writing new blocks for our courses or updating existing ones, so ther eis plenty of coding to be done, even when you are teaching.

What you will need to enjoy this role is

- Experience of working as a developer on production software in a few different settings over a few years
- Passion for coaching
- An agile mindset

We are running bootcamps in Java, .Net and JavaScript (for now, we can always add more...), but any coding experience is welcome.
