THE TEAM

The Marketing Cinematics group at EA is a content production team that partners with EA Studio’s game teams, to produce the highest quality marketing assets, trailers and commercials. We are a collective group of Animators, Artists, Designers, Directors, Lighters, Producers, Screenshot and Capture Artists. Worldwide, we combine to form a global group of extraordinary individuals, fuelled by imagination and a unified passion for creating amazing, next‐gen visuals. JOB DESCRIPTION

The ideal candidate will possess a strong problem-solving mentality and will be fearless in the face of new technologies and tools. If it’s a game engine, you can make it work regardless of which one it is.

You will work alongside a creative team of artists to ensure our marketing assets are delivered to the highest quality and compete on a world class level. You will have the responsibility to support our artists and make sure they can be as creative and productive as possible so that technical problems do not stand in their way. You may also contribute to shot layout, technical application, animation, FX and rendering to achieve the final creative vision as set forward by your Art/Creative Director.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify technical problems and propose solutions
  • Adapt to artistic and technical constraints to provide an effective workflow for cinematic artists on a per project basis
  • Provide hands-on support to artists and engineers regarding asset performance and validation
  • Provide feedback to artists and external partners
  • Review creative process and identify opportunities for tool improvements (per project)
  • Solve technical issues in the 3d asset pipeline
  • Work with partner studios to share technology and best practices
  • Work with artists and programmers to create 3D art and making sure assets are integrated at its highest quality

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in a digital art content creation pipeline, within the video game industry with a focus on cinematics
  • Experience within a game engine (Frostbite, Unreal, Unity)
  • Experience producing outstanding cinematic assets
  • Experience with game development frameworks and methodologies
  • Experience with real-time workflows and the technical hurdles/limitations associated

BONUS SKILLS

  • Experience developing custom tools for Digital content creation (DCC)
  • Knowledge of high-level coding language (Python, C#, C++)
