Senior HTML5 Game Developer

Job Description

Quickspin is an award winning games developer working with social online video slot machines for the gambling and social gaming audience. We are now looking for a talented game developer to join one of our game teams.

At Quickspin we motivate ourselves by always striving to develop the best games. We are working in small agile teams focused on gameplay design and quality, with the ambition to always keep improving. We are seeking a social, positive, and driven person with the ambition to create the best video slots on the market. The role expects you to have a creative mind-set working in collaboration with designers and artists while also being able to deliver production quality code.

Besides an interest in games and the latest in web technology, we would like you to have

• Excellent skills in web application development using HTML5 technology targeting mobile devices
• Solid understanding of OOP fundamentals, MVC and other software design patterns and anti-patterns
• Experience working with graphically performance-heavy web applications and games
• Experience with WebGL and hardware-accelerated 3D techniques
• A flair for computer graphics programming, animations and effects
• Experience with client-server integrations and serialization techniques
• Experience working with SCRUM in agile, iterative environments
• A ‘can do’ attitude

We also value:

• Experience with other programming languages (ActionScript, Java, C++ etc)
• Any other creative skill, from sound design to 3D modelling
