JOB DESCRIPTION:

You will be central in building out an insights-led culture within product development, drive customer and revenue growth through funnel optimization and work tightly with their Data Engineers in evaluating and building up data in the area. Your mission will be to turn customer experiences and data into insights and gain a deep understanding of the customer journey, and by doing so impact the strategy and direction of the full customer and end-listener experience.

As they’re a small company, they expect your footprint to be big! You’ll need to have an interest in the full customer journey, from how they’re attracting customers to how they tailor the end experience and be able to guide on where efforts are worth the most.

You will regularly interact with their Growth, Product, and User Research teams and on a regular cadence present findings to their Management team where you reason around findings from a strategic angle.

They are storing a lot of their data in Google Cloud today, but you’ll be able to influence and decide on a lot of tooling yourself, though they foresee you working a lot with user events, activity measure and designing A/B experiments to optimize and drive future product developments

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

We’re looking for someone with proven experience in the area, who wants to grow and prove your experience on a blank sheet of paper.

The must haves,

  • At least 2 years of experience working with data and insights at a fast-growing company
  • Proven experience in delivering business value through data and insights
  • Technical curiosity and proven ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and skills
  • Knowledge of SQL (Excel, Python, R, or Scala is a plus!)
  • Statistical modeling, experimentation, and A/B testing
  • Experience in creating dashboards and visualizations using a BI tool (preferable Tableau and Mixpanel)
  • Ability to communicate data and insights in a business context language
