DevOps Engineer with backend skills

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with Backend skills and a startup mindset to join stormglass.io - a fast growing global weather API company.

stormglass.io is a Swedish company, but the role is fully remote and very flexible, part time (50%) up to full time.

There is a shareholder program and as you will be one of the first members to join the team, there are interesting opportunities ahead such as taking on a CTO role and shaping the technical organization as the company grows.

The role and responsibilities

As DevOps Engineer at stormglass.io you will be responsible for our technical platform handling millions of data points for our customers.

Requirements

You need to have experience in:

Rest APIs

Fullstack development (most importantly experience in Python)

Kubernetes & Docker

Database technology such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL & Redis

Bonus skills:

Experience working with GRIB and NetCDF files

Experience working with Flower, Digital Ocean, Sentry, Bitbucket, Stripe API
