Job Summary:

As a Developer you will develop and maintain products (units, nodes, networks, systems and solutions), including development activities like requirement analysis, design, integration, verification, configuration management, PLM support, product documentation.

Responsibilities & Tasks:

- Perform Trouble Shooting and Customer Support
- Drive Continuous Improvements of Products and Processes

Position Qualifications:
- We are looking for Software Developers to work within the Common Control System subsystem OMS.

Department overview:

The department implements Operation and Maintenance server design, that is, the implementation of the node side (server) of the network management system. It handles services for configuration, alarms and events, performance monitoring and system upgrade. We are 15 programmers that also do systemization and testing.

The work is performed in development teams, using agile methods. In co-operation with our partners at TCS in Hyderabad, India, we are also responsible for our product maintenance. The work is distributed between India and Stockholm so that the majority of TRs are handled in India and most of the development teams are executed in Kista.

Programming languages and tools:

For configuration the north bound interface is described by a Managed Object Model (MOM) and each object as well as the other services is implemented in Java and C/C++. Eclipse is used as development platform and GIT is used as version control. For component testing, own defined scripts and simulators are used.

Required Competence:

The designer should master following subjects:

- Good knowledge in Java programming
- Good knowledge in Eclipse
- Good knowledge in C/C++ programming
- Good knowledge
