Build System Engineer for Gripen E/F

Service minded Systems Engineer that likes the challenge to improve and streamline an advanced build system while working with competent and fun colleagues.

Your role

As Systems Engineer you will be part of the of the build team in Software Continuous Integration and Configuration Management section. You will guide and contribute to improve our work for the ACCS Build System for Gripen E/F.

Your main tasks are:

Implement, test and maintain software components to meet specified needs.
*

Participate in reviews of software and documentation as required.
*

Track and report progress on assigned tasks and notify any potential schedule or technical issues.

You are a structured person with the ability to prioritize. You take responsibility to deliver results and work proactively. Your passion lies in finding the best solutions to complex problems, and implementing those solutions together with your team.

Your Profile

You have experience of working with software development, are curious to learn and have a genuine interest in technical solutions.

We are looking for team players enjoying collaboration within the team as well as with external contacts.

You have at least a Bachelor degree in software engineering, computer science or similar.
*

Experience working with software development.
*

Good problem solving skills and the ability to develop creative and innovative solutions.
*

Knowledge about Python, as this will be the main programming language that you will be working with.
*

Preferably also knowledge about the following languages: C/C++ and/or Java.
*

Have knowledge about Git, Bitbucket, Artifactory, Jenkins and/or Make.
*

You have good knowledge in both Swedish and English.

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.

What you will be a part of

You will collaborate with experienced engineers and professionals in an environment that fosters career development and personal growth. You will be part of the build team in Software Continuous Integration and Configuration Management section within E/F Avionics Systems. The unit is responsible for software build, integration and configuration management for the Avionic Core Computer System (ACCS) in Gripen E/F. The responsibility includes development and maintenance of the ACCS Build System. The team you will join consists primarily of Systems Engineers. E/F Avionics Systems is part of the Business Area Aeronautics.
