Senior Embedded Engineer

We are looking for a software engineer passionate about solving real use-case challenges using connected sensor devices.

You will work together with our embedded experts and influence the design and function of real-world solutions of portable and scalable IoT systems.

This is a full-time consultancy position in Lund or remote within EU.

You are:

• Self-motivated and proactive in taking part in the planning and design of software systems.
• Used to working with Proof of Concepts, developing new applications and solving real world problems.

Expected experience:

• Experienced in embedded RTOS
• Strong experience in Python programming
• Strong experience in both C (or C++) and Python
• Strong in Linux/UNIX environments.
• Experienced in HW driver development
• Experienced in peripheral I/O programming (UART, SPI, I2C, etc)
• Experienced in Git.
• Familiar with benchmarking and optimization of code.

Other relevant experiences include:

• Familiarity with embedded HW platforms (e.g. Nordic nRF).
• Familiarity with connectivity technologies (e.g. LPWAN, LTE Cat-M, etc).
• Familiarity with device mgmt technologies (e.g. MQTT/AWS IoT, LWM2M, etc).
• Familiarity with MicroPython development.
• Comfortable working with multiple code bases / open-source projects.
