We are looking for a truly passionate product and brand ambassador for Care by Volvo leasing model within our online business, to join our growing team based at Volvo Cars in both Stockholm and Gothenburg. Using your extensive data analytics capabilities, you will enable us to unlock ways to drive positive change and growth within customer onboarding.

In this role you will report to the Credit System Manager.

What you’ll do
As Decision Engine Developer, you will be a key team member to build and implement changes in the credit risk domain. You will ensure continued development and improvement of our decision engine, with the aim to maximize our degree of automatization without jeopardizing our risk appetite. 

You will also translate business needs into tangible outcomes. You will work collaboratively with other colleagues in the team and from other teams.

Further, you will participate in projects in line with the Credit Risk team’s priorities, sometimes supporting and sometimes leading, to achieve shared goals, using a variety of analysis and problem-solving techniques.

You demonstrate working proficiency and communication skills in English, verbal and written. As a person, you are curious, a team player, and enjoy learning how the business work end-to-end.

Minimum work experience:
•    Suitable education (BSc/MSc in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or the equivalent)
•    At least 1 year working experience with object-oriented programming language (such as C++, Python, Java, etc.)
Additional skills that would be considered a plus:
•    Experience in translating business requirements into rule flows, decision trees, business object models and managing Business Rules catalogs 
•    Knowledge of Rules Extraction, Documentation, Categorization
•    Knowledge of Rules Analysis to identify issues/redundancy/complexity
•    Knowledge or hands on experience with Web Services (REST, SOAP, etc)
•    Knowledge of test-first practices including Test-Driven Development (TDD) for unit tests  
•    Knowledge of CI/CD or similar release management processes  
•    Familiarity with e-identification tools, credit bureaus across different markets and automated decision engine solution
•    Familiar with business process modelling tools (e.g. Microsoft Visio, IBM Blueworks Live, etc)
•    Experience working agile
•    Working experience with FICO Decision Modeler (Rule Development Engine) is considered a big plus
