We are looking for a QA Engineer to join the Poker Development team that currently consist of 35 very talented and passionate developers, QA, configuration managers and architects. At Amaya you will have full responsibility for testing modules or new functions and take complete responsibility for the test planning, follow-up on quality and assurance of test and status reporting. You will work in a creative environment with highly skilled and motivated colleagues. This role emphasis being able to develop and carry out automated test and maintaining test specifications.

We work according to the SCRUM methodology and in small teams that are responsible for feature development through the process of designing, coding and testing. All teams are cross-functional and have all the competences needed to deliver features all the way to deployment. This position is heavily focused on starting up, building and maintaining an automatic test suite along with participating in the integration and system verification test states in which the complete system is tested in a number of different configurations.

The role is accountable for the following activities:
- Starting up development and support of the automation test framework and automation strategies.
- Implement test plans, automation, and validation strategies. Drive both QA and development team in creation of new automated test cases within the automation test framework.
- Define test objectives and write and execute test cases and test scenarios to ensure that software products meet design specifications and quality requirements.
- Execute test cases and procedures
- Collaborate with the development team to define, document and continually improve the internal development process
- Summarize and report results of testing to management and stakeholders along with taking part of the release process with other parts of the organization.

Vem är du?

You will need to have a degree in Computer Science or equivalent plus at least five years experience from test and automation experience. Hands-on experience in functional and non-functional testing is essential. Experience of server-side trouble shooting is considered an advantage.

The required skills, qualifications and experience are required for this role:
- 5+ years experience within a Technical QA role or similar technical discipline
- 3+ years of experience developing automated tests.
- Great understanding of Java
- Good understanding of automated test tools
- Has experience in working with complex server side systems
- Knowledge of version control systems such as SVN and GIT
- Understanding of unit, functional, stress, performance, security and regression testing
- Expertise in developing and maintaining an overall test methodology and strategy for a large system.
