Do you have an interest in product development? Do you want your work to contribute to a wide variety of fields such as biomechanical research, sports biomechanics and medical devices? We are looking for a talented System Tester (Life Sciences) to join our growing team in central Gothenburg.
Qualisys market and sell motion capture solutions world-wide with in-house development of high-speed cameras, 3D tracking and analysis software as well as cloud solutions. All development is made in the Gothenburg office with a great view of the harbor, where we are close to 50 people with around 30 of us working with product development.
Information about the position
Your focus will be to run testing in a team that owns and develops analysis and reporting tools that turn 3D raw data into meaningful information for athletes, coaches, health professionals and researchers. Since Qualisys is a small and growing company, you will have a lot of influence over your work and your development. Of course, with this freedom also comes a great deal of responsibility.
At Qualisys, you are expected to be an active part in developing the company and our products. You are expected to take responsibility and you are given the freedom to do so. The team owns the products it creates and has the power to decide how work should be prioritized. With that comes responsibility to gather enough information about end user products, customer needs and competition to be able to make educated decisions.
You have good knowledge in
- Practical use of Motion Capture systems including 3rd party devices (Force plates, EMG)
- Analysis and interpretation of Motion Capture data using Visual3D pipelines
- Using test plans in Azure DevOps
- Investigating, replicating and documenting bugs in Azure DevOps
- Writing and revising technical documentation and user manuals
- Working proficiency in English
It is also beneficial to have experience with
- Teaching students and/or customers how to use Motion Capture systems in Life Sciences
- Clinical gait analysis with patients
About you
We are looking for a person with a PhD in the Life Sciences / Health Care field who is genuinely interested in achieving and maintaining high product quality through thorough and structured testing.
