UX Designer & Copywriter

FundedByMe is looking for a UX Designer & Copywriter to join our team! We are working on great things and want to move even faster, which is where you’ll come in!

As a member of the product team you’ll be given the opportunity to make meaningful improvements impacting how people interact on FundedByMe.com and help pioneer user interaction best practices for crowdfunding on web and mobile platforms.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing user experiences based on overall designs created by the Senior UX Designer, making tactical design decisions.You will have overall responsibility of copywriting for the web and localization for each market. You will be working closely with people across the company, ranging from design, product management, development and sales to help develop great user experiences for the entrepreneurs and investors on our platform.

What you will be doing:

• Writing site copy in Swedish and English
• Translating copy from Swedish to English and vice versa
• Ensuring that a consistent tone and language is followed throughout the site
• Writing educational content in Swedish and English
• Manage localisation of FundedByMe content to all supported languages
• Conducting user research
• Performing User testing
• Prototyping wireframes
• Creating UI design following brand guidelines
• Liaise with marketing to ensure copy is on brand
• Liaise with sales staff to ensure their needs are met
• Collaborate with Senior designer to ensure UX/UI/copy is on brand, and is effective.
• Work competently within an agile development team and communicate well with developers and Product Manager.

You have:

• Native Swedish speaker, or near-native fluency in Swedish
• Excellent proficiency in English
• Knowledge of UX/UI principles
• Experience using design software e.g. Sketch and prototyping software e.g. Invision
• Knowledge of writing copy for the tech and/or financial industry
• 2 years experience as copywriter or UX designer
